Alimar, the only surimi products manufacturer in Turkey and its immediate geography, was established in 2002 within the body of GROUP BOSTANCI. Primarily producing imitation crab with crab flavor under the Alimar Gıda brand, alimar has launched lobster and salmon flavored fish meat products to the market in line with the demands from the retail market.
“ADVANCED PROCESSED FOOD PRODUCTS”
In 2004, it developed its machinery park in order to produce products for the out-of-home consumption sector. Seafood coated products and gourmet products, as well as vegetarian vegetable products (corn balls, felafel, vegetable balls) participated in the production. 1.5 tons of production has started to be made every day for HORECA and the ready-to-eat food sector.
In 2010, coated mozzerella sticks, marinated seafood, lobster-crab-tuna-shrimp-anchovy pate products and various seafood salads were developed.
In 2012, our capacity was increased by 50% and production of kipper, smoked fish, imitation shrimp, lobster tail, fish ham / salami, sausage, surimi stick ham was put into use.
In 2013, “POUCH” filling and “SACHET” machines were brought and dry and wet sauce production for our products started.
In 2014, R&D studies were concentrated on, and Artificial ring squid was started to be produced as the only company in Europe.
In 2016, it increased its production range to 94 products.
In 2018, SEAWEED (KELP) caviar production started. ( molecular
It is the first in Turkey with Gastronomy) and the 4th Producer in the World.
In 2019, our R&D department was developed and started to develop products by targeting school canteens – beaches – courthouses – military canteens.
In 2020, the Dumpling production line including Seafood – Corn Dog production line was established and trial studies were started by bringing Pizza corn machines.
Our production capacity has been increased to 3 tons per day and the expansion of the factory building has been started.
Currently, our products are sold in all national chain stores and large local stores.
We work with the leading dealers and distribution companies of the sector.
In the Mediterranean region, the production of special products has been strengthened, especially targeting the Hotels.
It has been decided to develop Smoked and Marine (Gourmet) products for 2021 and to work for the developing Vegi / vegan sector.
